Nightlife in Seville. 5 main areas, info and plans

Going out in Seville is a pleasure because the city invites you to live the street and meet friends. The climate plays a strong role, of course. Flamenco, tapas, views, cups, and terraces—this is the essence of Seville at night, and we will discover it all:

Flamenco nights

Plan a great night in Seville by enjoying a flamenco show. There are many options available.

You can visit Museo del Flamenco, where you can dance and enjoy its exhibitions and shows. El Tablao Los Gallos is a major venue in the city, showcasing renowned figures of the genre, located in the Santa Cruz area.

El Palacio Andaluz is another fantastic tablao and is situated in a lively part of the city with some of the best terraces and countless places to explore. If you venture to Triana, you’ll find smaller, more authentic flamenco venues. On Pagés del Corro, Tablao Baraka offers a perfect fusion of classic flamenco with modern takes.

Orillas de Triana on Castilla Street provides beautiful views and is nestled within a school of flamenco dancers, boasting top-notch performances.

For a more intimate experience with the artists, try Esencia Pura on Betis Street. For something unique, head to the typical Flamenco de Triana at Teatro on Pureza Street, which has a comfortable, theatrical setting.

RIVER CRUISE IN SEVILLE

Boat travel

Of course, Sevilla looks especially beautiful from the river. We recommend enjoying a scenic boat trip on the River Guadalquivir.

Night views of Sevilla

There are guided nighttime tours of the monuments and landscapes of Seville, with the option to combine these views with flamenco shows. If not, just enjoy the sights on a night tour of Sevilla.

Tapas in Seville · Sevilla best zones

The entertainment and dining options are vast, so you will surely find an atmosphere that suits your taste and where you can feel at home.

The historic center is a standout choice for partying in Seville.

Seville Night life

In addition, you can enjoy its beauty from any of its terraces, perfect for resting from the high temperatures. One popular option is the EME Hotel Terrace, where their mojitos, sophisticated ambiance, and spectacular views of the cathedral create an unforgettable Sevillian night.

Another great option is the Hotel Inglaterra Terrace, which offers excellent views of the city. Enjoy the sunset and skyline while sipping on a delicious cocktail—it’s a superb plan.

In the same square, Capitol is quite fashionable and boasts good tapas spots on Albareda and Zaragoza streets. If heights are what you seek, you won’t be disappointed with the terraces of Hotel Doña María and Fontecruz Sevilla.

Down on the ground, a must-stop is Plaza del Salvador—a habitual meeting point and often the starting place for many nights out. Starting your night in any venue there is a sign of a great evening ahead.

If you’re a beer lover, be sure not to miss the Cervecería Internacional (International Brewery) to taste some of the world’s leading brands.

While there, you also need to eat. Tapas in Seville is an art. You can stop by Café Universal for a brave experience, climb to Cuesta del Rosario Street for some “montaitos” (small sandwiches), try the tostas and provolone in Alfalfa Square, or taste one of the top wines at La Taberna del Águila.

For something truly authentic, visit Garlochí—a elegant spot with pure folklore that leaves no one indifferent. On Mateos Gagos Street, opposite La Giralda, are the legendary Taberna Picalagartos, featuring an orange wine bar, and Las Columnas, known for their “montaitos” of “pringá,” a local and beloved dish.

Drinks in Sevilla

The Alameda de Hercules is probably the most alternative area of the city. It has a strong personality and a unique artistic and cultural vibe. Great snacks can be found at Casa Ricardo (where they serve the best croquetas in town), Feria’s Street Market, and Eslava.

It’s a fantastic place to enjoy drinks outdoors, as almost all local bars have terraces. If you want to hear live music, consider heading to Naima Café Jazz, Fun Club, or Malandar. For 80’s fans, 1987 is your spot.

A completely different atmosphere awaits in the emblematic district of El Arenal, located between the Cathedral and the river.

From the fashionable Le XIX, where you can also enjoy live music, to disco pubs like Groucho Bar, Rockefeller, and O’Clock, there’s something for everyone. Don’t forget the classic terrace of the Hotel Inglaterra.

As we approach the Guadalquivir, we find Paseo Colón, which gets crowded with pubs and people on weekends from 20:00. Dada and Kiosco Zaratrusta are two of our top picks here.

Also, visit Lonja Mercado El Barranco, nestled in an iron structure designed by famed architect Gustave Eiffel, which is very trendy at the moment.

On the left bank of the river, you can also find Capote, Chile, and venues at New York dock, all in perfect locations.

For a more extensive list of options and particularly flamenco shows that are less formal than in the center, visit our special page on Triana.

Crossing the river, we reach Triana, where the views are spectacular. Trendy spots can be found on Betis Street and the Puerto terraces, with Cuba and El Embarcadero opposite the Torre del Oro, providing pleasant spaces.

For a unique experience, head to Level 5th at the Hotel Ribera de Triana or catch a flamenco-pop performance at Lasala. In Plaza de Cuba, Phoenix Pub, an Irish pub, is a smart choice if there’s a sporting event on—a good spot for drinks and nachos.

If you’re the king of the dance floor, the Antique Theater, located in one of the old pavilions from Expo 92 on Cartuja’s Island, is one of the most renowned discotheques.

More centrally located around Alameda, Obbio and Holidays are must-visits, where you can enjoy pop, indie, house, or electronic music. If you don’t want to leave the Alfalfa area, consider visiting Tokyo.

For more commercial music, check out Bilindo, Alfonso, or Lebanon, located near Maria Luisa Park, and the futuristic Abril in the Nervion neighborhood.

If you find yourself wanting to go to bed but the night is just getting started, swing by the kiosk Macarena for a “warm” drink to cap off your evening.

In the Viapol area (easy to locate with bus, metro, and tram access), you’ll find the candy room, the disco Wall Street, the branch of Bestiario, and many others.

And while many spots are unlisted, once you start your exploration, just ask anyone for a “party route” through the city, and you’re sure to find the best nightlife Seville has to offer.
