International Exhibition of Horses SICAB

The Hall of the Spanish Horse The International Horse (SICAB), organized by the National Association of Breeders of Purebred Spanish Horses (ANCCE) is held in late November in the Congress and Exhibition Fair in Seville (FIBES).

In addition to being the world’s leading event around Horse Purebred Spanish (PRE), SICAB has been consolidated over the last decade as the third event in economic impact for the Andalusian capital. It attracts more than 200,000 visitors each year and features over a thousand thoroughbred Spanish horses (PRE) from more than 350 national and international breeders.

Given its extensive sports, commercial, exhibition, and leisure activities, SICAB occupies all 75,000 square meters of the Palace of Congresses and Exhibitions of the Andalusian capital, FIBES.

Since its inception in 1991, SICAB has been a fundamental reference in the international equestrian calendar. The horse Purebred Spanish serves as its main character.

The Great Sporting Equestrian Event in Spain

On the sporting side, SICAB hosts the Championship of the World of Purebred Spanish Horses and Mares. It also features finals of equestrian disciplines such as Dressage, Jumping, Eventing, Tradition, High School, Working Equitation, Exhibitions, and the great horse show.

The latter attracts the general public with its lavish display of lights, sounds, and acrobatics from both national and international riders, showcasing some of the best examples of Purebred Spanish horses in the world.

Aside from sports competitions, SICAB hosts numerous social events and a variety of shops around the world of the horse, generating significant economic activity.

Set as the main event of the autumn season in Sevilla, SICAB serves as the meeting point for fans of the sport and various public personalities.

In terms of complementary offerings, SICAB features a wide commercial activity, showcasing a hundred firms in areas such as fashion, equestrian items, veterinary care, equine transport, catering, food, and decoration.

During SICAB, different national and international brands unveil their latest developments to the public. The event also includes a varied dining area that reflects the values ​​of variety and excellence characterizing SICAB.

Among its recent noteworthy achievements, SICAB received a new endorsement of its importance to the city of Seville as a tourist destination. In October, it was awarded by the Association of Tourism Companies Sevillana (ASET) for contributing to the brand “Sevilla,” enhancing the city’s reputation as a quality tourism destination and a global epicenter of the equestrian world.
